Award-winning Liverpool writer and musician Francis Duffy is no stranger to theatre and music. He has written scripts for community theatre and theatre-in-education, one of which was made into a TV drama and shown on BBC Television; which then won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Education Drama. Francis has written a number of plays which have been very well received in venues across Liverpool and Merseyside. His credits include River Of Dreams and The Pot Of Gold, with both playing to sell-out audiences at the Unity Theatre.
Music is a big part of his life and work, and his songs have been used as soundtracks and performed on BBC Radio Merseyside. As a singer/songwriter Francis has taken part in various North West Songwriters' showcase events where his songs were praised by audiences.
